We Bring Fairytales to Life
About the Book Club
Our free Book Club started as a way to encourage kids to read over the summer. We've had a lot of fun bringing our Sea themed characters to these free events. Look for our next theme coming soon. We took a break from club meetings in August and September and will probably start the free meetings again in November. We've been working on something very special for our little readers.
What happens at Book Club?
One of our themed characters will tell a story, host a game, or maybe sing a song inspired by the story.
We don't assign books to read. We would like for you to tell us what you're reading at home. Children can write us a letter, draw a picture, or write a book report to tell us all about it.
You can send it by email to [email protected] and let us know if it's ok to share your child's work online.
Your child's work should include:
The Book's Title
Also please tell you your favorite part of the story.
May we share this on our Facebook Page?
Parents, If your child isn't able to write just yet that's ok! Maybe they would like to draw a picture of their favorite part of the story.
You can teach them where to find the Author and write the summary in their words. It's ok if's not perfect. The idea is to have fun with reading.
It's easy to enter! Just scan the letter, drawing, or report with a scanner or snap a picture with your phone and send it to [email protected]
We have a goal to receive 20 book reports by the end of 2021.
Each book report received will be entered into a drawing for a free 2022 Character visit at your Birthday Party. (30 minute visit)
We will draw our winner December 31, 2021. The winner will be notified by email and posted on our social media.
We must meet our goal of 20 reports in order to draw a winner. Each month you enter you'll receive 1 entry. If you've been to the Ariel or Moana, or Captain James club meetings and have not yet turned in a report please feel free to send those in today.
